"Some people do not have to search, for they find their niche easily in life and rest there seemingly contented and resigned. At times, I envy them, but usually I do not understnad..and seldom do they understnad me. I am on of the searches. There are, I believe, millionsof us. We are not unhappy, but n neither are we completely content. We continue to explore life, hoping to uncover its ultimate secret. We continue to explore ourselves hoping to understand. We like to walk along the beach, we are drawn by the ocean, taken by its power and unceasing motion, its mystery and unspeakable beauty. We like forests, mountains, deserts, hiddern rivers, and lovely cities as well. Our sadness is as much a part of our lives as our laughter; to share our sadness with the ones we love is perhaps as great a joy as we know. Unless it is to share our laughter. We searchers are ambitious but only for life itself and anything beautiful it can provide. Most of all, we want to love and be loved, to live in a relationship that will not impede our wanderings and prevail our search. We do not want to prove ourselves to others or compete for love. This passage is for wanderers, dreamers, and lovers who dare to ask of life, everything which is good and beautiful." ~Found in the door of a deserted store in Colorado

Summer Fun: Hiking, Camping, good times with good friends...oh and kickball too!

There is so much to talk about and catch up on! I am sorry for the delay in updating my blog but I hope you will enjoy the pictures and stories below :)

The view of The Grand from our campsite in Curtis Canyon. This was my first time in Curtis Canyon and it is absolutely gorgeous and also just outside of town!

Jennifer and her sister Melissa setting up camp.

Megan helping to get the fire started.
Reese came along as well...her first camping trip ever!
Jenny doing her thing to get the fire going!

Most of the group that went camping with us.

And then the next day Reese and I had to take a trip to the emergency vet...she got into something bad and was very very sick. Happy to say she is much better and back to her spunky self!

There is a group of people who go hiking every Sunday and this was the first Sunday I joined them. We hiked 13 miles through Cascade Canyon. This spot is Hidden Falls near Jenny lake.

The view of Jenny Lake from Inspiration Point...so pretty!
Yep...it's summer and we are still hiking in snow! This is me, Simpson, Lauren, and Charlotte
Making light of the fact that we had to turn around because there was too much snow to continue...darn it!

More Hiking!!!
The following Sunday we did the Valley Floor Trail...roughly 15 miles but ended up being almost 19 miles!

Hiking through beautiful meadows.

Me, Charlotte, and Mareen hiking.

The view of Phelps Lake...this is the point I called it quits. We had hiked around 13 miles with 6.5 miles left to go...oh well...still an absolutely amazing hike!

And then there is kickball! We are the Lil Lebowski's and we are awesome...so much fun!

The Fire Festival on the town square after a game of kick ball. This is Me, Megan, Jenny, and Grainger (Megan's friend from Atlanta).

Out for some Teton Thai (one of my absolute favorite places in Jackson). In this picture: Megan, me, Jenny, Melissa, Grainger, and Jennifer.

For the Sex and The City premier, we all got dressed up and went out for some martini's before the movie.

The 4th of July...at a friend's house just before the fire works. Megan, Tori, me, Melissa, Jennifer, Alli, and Jenny

Brrrrrr cold!

Jennifer hiking.

Me, Jennifer, and Megan at Soda Lake...the long sleeves I am wearing are not because it's cold it's because of the mosquitos!

Lucy my new Subaru Outback in her elements...she finally "got her skirt dirty" as Dave puts it!
Lucy and I out in the Gros Ventres after hiking.

So, I think that is all for now...I hope that covered everything. My next blog is going to update you on Mom's visit out here. I miss everyone bunches and bunches but I will be home soon!!! Love you :)
