"Some people do not have to search, for they find their niche easily in life and rest there seemingly contented and resigned. At times, I envy them, but usually I do not understnad..and seldom do they understnad me. I am on of the searches. There are, I believe, millionsof us. We are not unhappy, but n neither are we completely content. We continue to explore life, hoping to uncover its ultimate secret. We continue to explore ourselves hoping to understand. We like to walk along the beach, we are drawn by the ocean, taken by its power and unceasing motion, its mystery and unspeakable beauty. We like forests, mountains, deserts, hiddern rivers, and lovely cities as well. Our sadness is as much a part of our lives as our laughter; to share our sadness with the ones we love is perhaps as great a joy as we know. Unless it is to share our laughter. We searchers are ambitious but only for life itself and anything beautiful it can provide. Most of all, we want to love and be loved, to live in a relationship that will not impede our wanderings and prevail our search. We do not want to prove ourselves to others or compete for love. This passage is for wanderers, dreamers, and lovers who dare to ask of life, everything which is good and beautiful." ~Found in the door of a deserted store in Colorado

Updates...

Last week I was able to attend the Pedigree Sled Dog Tour on the town sqaure in Jackson. This event was a ton of fun! We walked to the square to watch the start of the race which was pretty cool...they started one at a time and only went 2 miles but it was still very fun to watch. This was the beginning of many stops for the Pedigree Sled Dog Tour...sort of like a kick off ceremony. Anyway...here are some pictures from the event...enjoy :)

A big thing to do on the weekends is go the hockey game...our team is The Moose and they are pretty good. We usually go on Friday nights and have a few brewskies and watch the game. In this picture it is Simpson, me, Megan, and Marti. So much fun!

Also, here are some more pictures from another fantastic day of skiing!

And...some FANTASTIC news...Jenny is finally home!!! She arrived back in Jackson last Wednesday and is loving getting settled back in to her life here in Jackson. Everyone is so happy she is back...especially me :)

Our "Welcom Home" celebration for Jenny...so happy she is home!

I know that was a lot of updates in one blog but I hope you enjoyed anyway :) Everything else is going really well here...we had 12 feet of snow in January which is close to one of the largest snow falls in history for January! I feel like it snows almost everyday...and I am loving it...it really makes for some amazing skiing! I am getting ready for Chad and Rob (friends from home) to come visit. They arrive this Wednesday and are staying till Sunday. And Mom and Dad will be here on the 23rd of this month!!! I can't wait for my friends and family to see what I love about this place and experience it with me. Well, that is all for now. I love and miss you all sooooo much and I am thinking about you often. See ya :)
